I float languidly on a pleasantly warm pool of anguish. The sky alludes quietly to my delusions experienced long ago and I close my eyes, the lashes like black lace against my skin. I repress, regress, project. The trees object. I shut my ears to their protests. Rocks rebel. I am compelled to close. Break down, curl inward, grow a little shell to protect my softness. I want to stop all this. Avoid existence, the world, fate. I sit up, stumble to my feet, and walk away. I feel someone watch me. I just realized something. I turn nineteen tomorrow. I'm going out to sushi with several of my loved ones. It will be fantastic. Nineteen is a weird age to be. It's one of those in between years. So, I haven't written here in a while. I've been writing on other sites. I just lost interest in Deviant Art, and I don't know why. Nothing much has changed with me. I'm still the same.
